A prominent listed Chateaux with grounds in excess of 20 acres with numerous outbuildings and a charming dry moat. Our work was focused on two main areas – the Courtyard within the walls of the Chateau and the Park land. Working very closely with the client who had firm design ideas we thinned out inappropriate tree species and added a lovely mix of both exotic and native trees enhancing views whilst screening the odd eye sore. The court yard, simple in design with a rectangular central lawn and ‘Bee Hive ‘Shaped Yew topiary to the corners with ‘En Masse’ planting of Hydrangea arborecens ‘Annabelle’ to the side of the Chateau.
